Subcontracting The craftsman-like machining of unique pieces, and the design and manufacture of entire machines or individual components, is a part of the business that has existed since 1962.
RIVAL is known for precision – precision-made products delivered precisely on time. The majority of our customers are production companies, and we are well aware that if we are dealing with one of their components, it means one of their machines will be standing idle. And that costs money – lots of money.
We intend to build on our expertise and promote our strengths to customers and staff: Flexibility We have the necessary staff and machine capacity to work on a piece whenever a customer comes to us. We are good at determining how the task should be tackled, finding a suitable mounting method and initiating the machining process, all in the shortest possible time. Our experience and our expertise enable us to compete with other suppliers – even when it comes to single components.
Quality Our aim is to deliver work that meets, or exceeds, our customers’ expectations in terms of quality.

Mass production This is the newest part of the business, an area in which – given the right conditions – we are more than able to compete with Eastern Europe and the Far East. Through agreements with our customers, this particular business area will serve to ensure that orders are always in hand.
Competition is hard, and it is vital for us to continue to develop and remain focused on:
Planning Production preparation Production technology Quality Capacity
We have adopted the KAIZEN philosophy.
We must continuously improve our manufacturing skills, which means that we must be able to offer our customers machining at lower prices.
Our aim is not to announce price increases, but to offer our customers quality machining, on time, at reduced prices.

RIVAL adjustable calibrating sleeves In 1995, Knud Pedersen developed an adjustable calibrating sleeve for use in the manufacturing of extruded plastic pipes – a product we have since exported to almost every corner of the world.
The adjustable calibrating sleeves are mass produced. Our strategy is to always have at least one calibrating sleeve of every dimension in stock so that we are in a position to deliver from one day to the next. We also offer non-standard versions, which are available at short notice.
The adjustable calibrating sleeve may help us to achieve our ambition to grow.
We must continuously shape the market using an active, emphatic sales approach aimed at end customers, employing not only our distributors but also a variety of marketing activities (website, trade fairs, etc). Customers must feel they are buying the best possible quality: High quality in terms of the sale High quality in terms of the product High quality in terms of delivery High quality in terms of their earning capacity as a result of their investment in the product High quality in terms of service High quality in terms of the documentation supplied with the product, etc.
