The working environment

At RIVAL, we have always cared about the working environment. The subject has now been encapsulated within another concept we have named “thinking about”. Every time we acquire a machine or set up a new workstation, we think about how best to do it. We consider a wide range of factors, including any necessary lifting, working positions, the handling of heavy items, the location of tools, lighting, potential dangers, the use of cutting coolants, waste, noise, etc.

We seek to actively reduce potential danger, the use of carcinogens and neurotoxins, lifting, repetitive monotonous work and noise.

As a minimum, we must comply with existing occupational health and safety guidelines at all times. Our aim, however, is to continuously seek to introduce improvements that minimise the likelihood of accidents in the workplace.
